Woman dies after hit-and-run in NW Houston

A woman died Saturday evening in a hit-and-run in northwest Houston. Shortly after 4 p.m., Timisha Davis was in the outside lane of West Little York Road near Gessner when she was hit, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. The vehicle that hit Davis and did not stop to provide aid might have been a white lifted Toyota Tundra. Davis was transported to Methodist West Houston Hospital, where she died from her injuries.

WHO KILLED TIMISHA DAVIS?

On Saturday August 2nd, at approximately 4:15 am, Timisha Davis was in the 18900 block of West Little York Road in Northwest Harris County when she was hit by a vehicle. The driver did not stop to render aid. Ms. Davis was transported to Methodist West Houston Hospital where she later died. Harris County investigators say a witness described the suspect’s vehicle as a white Toyota Tundra, with a possible lift. The driver of the truck continued traveling westbound after the accident.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a driver wanted for a deadly hit-and-run crash. The victim, Timisha Davis, was in the 18900 block of West Little York Road in northwest Harris County when she was hit by a vehicle on August 2 around 4:15 a.m. The driver failed to stop and render aid. Davis was rushed to Methodist West Houston Hospital, where she died. A witness told Harris County investigators the suspect was driving a white Toyota Tundra, with a possible lift.
