After finding an open alcohol container in his vehicle, police believe that a 53-year-old man who died in a collision on Highway 6 at Briarhills Parkway was drunk when his car went left of center and struck another vehicle at about 10:45 p.m. The at-fault driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while two passengers from the other car, identified as a 60-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman, sustained non-life threatening injuries and were brought to the hospital.
