David Eric Rosenfeld, who so many knew and admired, died while doing something he truly loved. The victim of a cycling accident, David passed away quietly in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 24th, surrounded by friends and family. David was a husband, father, son, brother, friend, leader, mentor, and community member of unrivaled quality.
A bicyclist was killed Saturday morning in a collision with a car in the West University area. David Rosenfeld, 47, was hit while he was on his way to a memorial ride for Jon Trevelise, a bicyclist who was hit by a car and killed in Galveston last spring. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
