'Multiple injuries' after massive scaffolding collapse in Houston
Video from the scene showed piles of metal lying on the ground outside a roughly seven-story building. The collapsed scaffolding appeared to cover a large section of a city block. Houston's Office of Emergency Management reported the injures from the collapse, which happened near the corner of Crawford and Preston streets -- an area not far from Minute Maid Park, the home of Major League Baseball's Houston Astros.
6 Pulled From Rubble After Scaffolding Collapse In Houston
A Houston Fire Department statement says all six workers were taken to hospitals Friday morning. The department says the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. No other details were provided on the conditions of the injured. Firefighters continued to search for more people possibly trapped under the rubble.

"Seeing it collapse, a tidal wave went down," he said. "Definitely makes you think twice. Luckily I stay away from it. I'm over here and over there I cross over. Definitely, it's been put up and you think it's going to stay there. To see it come down is kinda crazy. "
