9 hurt in Metro bus accident in southeast Houston

Nine people were injured this morning in a bus accident involving a Metro bus in southeast Houston.The accident happened around 6am this morning in the 7800 block of Almeda at Holly Hall. The bus sustained extensive damage to its rear in the crash. It appears a white box truck hit the bus.One person was seen being transported to the hospital by ambulance. The extent of those injuries as well as the number of other possible victims is unknown at this time.A big rig tow truck is on the scene, readying to take away the vehicle.Stay with Eyewitness News for more information on this story as more information becomes available.

Twelve people were taken to the hospital Friday morning after an accident involving at METRO bus in southwest Houston. The bus was letting passengers off at  bus stop on Holly Hall and Almeda when it was struck from behind by a delivery truck.
