Officials say a pregnant woman was driving southbound on Gessner Road, turning into her apartment complex when a man speeding slammed into the driver's side of her car HOUSTON -- A pregnant woman is injured after a man slammed into her car Saturday night in southwest Houston. Officials say a pregnant woman was driving southbound on Gessner Road near Clarewood Drive and making a left turn into her apartment complex when a man speeding northbound slammed into the driver's side of her car. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Officials say the man was intoxicated and taken into custody.
