Authorities say two passengers were trapped in the car, and the drive ran from the scene HOUSTON – Authorities say the driver left the scene of a crash in midtown that left two men in the hospital early Sunday morning. Police say three men in a BMW were speeding southbound on Milam Street near West Alabama Street just after 2 a.m. Authorities say two passengers were trapped in the car, and the drive ran from the scene. Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but they are still investigating. Officials say the driver then lost control and slammed into a concrete pillar.
