3 injured in NW Houston hit-and-run

Three people were injured in a northwest Houston parking lot after they were struck by a driver who then fled the scene early Sunday morning. A man driving a large four-door pickup truck barreled through the lot, struck the three bystanders and left the scene. Harris County sheriff's deputies later found the driver, who was intoxicated, at a taco restaurant down the street. After visiting a pub, at around 2:15 a.m. the three victims were standing in the shopping center lot at FM 529 and North Eldridge Parkway. All three people were transported to the hospital, two in stable condition and one in serious condition.
