Officer-involved crash on I-45 causes two more collisions

HOUSTON – An alleged drunk driver slammed into a police car early Sunday morning, causing accidents involving two other vehicles. When the police officer got into his car, an alleged drunk driver slammed into the back of his car, shoving it into the SUV in front of him. The SUV subsequently collided with the Uber car. A Houston police car drove up to two cars stopped in the left moving lane of the Pierce Elevated after an SUV rear-ended a black Uber car. The police officer got out of his car and asked the two drivers to move off of the freeway.
