4-year-old boy hit, killed in parking lot in southwest Houston
Police said the boy was riding his bicycle in the parking lot when the driver of an SUV came through the complex. Police said they believe driver just didn't see the child and hit him.
Accident investigators said the boy was rushed Texas Children's Hospital, where he died. The driver of the SUV was thoroughly questioned by officers. Investigators said they do not believe the driver was impaired, but are checking to determine whether speed was a factor in the accident.
