HOUSTON - Police say a woman was hit and killed by a vehicle while crossing the street early Sunday morning in southwest Houston. The incident occurred just before 6:30 a.m. Sunday in the 5800 block of Chimney Rock Road near Gulfton Street. Authorities say an unknown vehicle struck the woman as she was attempting to cross Chimney Rock.
