Boy helps rescue brother after fiery crash that killed dad

Police say the dad lost control of his family's moving truck for unknown reasons. He struck a barrier and then a concrete pillar, flipping the truck. The father died at the scene as the ripped apart big rig caught on fire.

His two young boys, a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old, were in the truck when the crash occurred.

A 5-year-old boy, who was ejected from the big rig, pulled his younger brother from the wreckage, officials said.

A nearby hotel worker saw the crash and ran to help, according to police. The employee said that the 5-year-old was running around as the toddler laid on the road. The employee stayed and held the children until help arrived, police said.
