13 injured after pickup crashes into line of vehicles on I-27 near Broadway
Officers were chasing a red pickup truck around 9:30 p.m. Monday after responding to a domestic disturbance call at 19th and Avenue Q. Police located the vehicle in the 1800 block of Avenue U.
Police say the pickup was last seen entering the ramp to go north on Interstate 27 and the pursuit was cancelled.
A few minutes later, investigators say that same pickup truck continued speeding when it rear-ended a blue car on Interstate 27 near Broadway Avenue knocking it into a third car.
The pickup kept going and hit two more vehicles, before coming to a stop.
