Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman James Keith said the 16-year-old boy was walking along some railroad tracks in the 7900 block of Gibbs Sprawl Road around 11:30 a.m., when he was hit by the train.

Deputies told KENS 5 at the scene they were working to find anything that may have been a possible distraction to the victim, such as earbuds.
