Kendall County Fire Marshal's officials said the other two people in the car were taken to University Hospital in ambulances.
Girl dies after car crashes into a tree near county line
DPS officials said the 19-year-old-driver was making a turn when he missed it and hit a tree. The driver and backseat passenger, 16, escaped but the front seat passenger, 18, did not. The car then burst into flames.
Teen dies in car accident on her birthday
Sydney Smith, 18, died after the vehicle she was in veered off the roadway and hit a tree on Scenic Loop Road near Boerne Stage Road. It happened Thursday around 2 p.m. which was also, tragically, her birthday
Boerne teen killed in tragic spring break crash
Talley said they probably were out for a drive on a beautiful afternoon during spring break.
A single-vehicle crash on Scenic Loop Road where a car crashed and caught fire \sent three teenagers to the hospital. It happened at about 2:00pm, when Aidan Vitela, 19, was driving the car in which Smith and Victoria Snell, 16, were passengers and struck a tree. Smith was taken to the hospital via helicopter, but later pronounced dead, and Vitela and Snell were taken via ambulance. Apparently bysttanders attempted to help the victims but could not because of the intense fire surrounding the vehicle.
