US 290 near Fredericksburg shut down due to deadly crash
The first incident happened at approximately noon. Department of Public Safety investigators say a Mazda passenger car was traveling east on Hwy 290 when a Lexus SUV traveling west crossed into the eastbound lane and struck the Mazda. The driver of the Mazda, a 69-year-old female, was pronounced dead at the scene.
