The accident happened around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday in the 8700 block of West Military Drive. The cyclist was thrown from his bike after being hit by a Cadillac. The driver of the car was arrested for DWI and Intoxication Assault.
Motorcyclist hit by car at traffic light
A motorcyclist was hit by a car while he was waiting at a traffic light on the city's West Side early Saturday.
The motorcyclist was waiting a red light when a Cadillac hit him from behind. The biker was thrown from his vehicle and suffered head, chest, and leg injuries. The driver of the Cadillac was arrested for DWI and Intoxication Assault. The motorcyclist was taken to a local medical center. No identities have been released yet.
