One killed, two injured after truck slams into stalled SUV on San Antonio's South Side

A man died Thursday morning and two others were hospitalized after a truck slammed into a stalled SUV on the South Side.

No charges expected for driver in fatal Loop 410 crash

According to officers at the scene, both he and the injured man had been seen by witnesses prior to the crash, pushing the disabled SUV off the road. However, police said both men were back inside the vehicle when it was hit.
One person was killed and one was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on the South Side early Thursday morning. Two men were pushing a disabled SUV in the right shoulder of Loop 410 at approximately 3:18 p.m., when a truck hit them from behind. One man was killed, and the other sustained critical injuries. There was a woman and two children in the SUV, but only the woman was hospitalized. The driver of the truck claimed they did not see the stalled vehicle.
