Police: Drunk man drives off Loop 410 killing a child passenger, injuring 3 others
Police say a gray 2006 Mitsubishi Galant was traveling north on the 4400 block of N.E. Loop 410 about 5:25 p.m. in the left lane when the vehicle drove off the roadway and down an embankment, according to a report. The vehicle then struck a retaining wall of the access road of the northbound lanes of Interstate 35.

Officers evaluated Perez at the scene and determined he was intoxicated, officials said. He is facing one count of intoxication manslaughter and three counts of intoxication assault.
