UHP identifies Arizona woman killed in I-70 crash

Miramontes three boys, ages 14, 12 and 7, were listed in serious condition Monday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo.

Troopers say seat belts were used, but they didn't prevent Miramontes and the 14-year-old boy from being ejected.
The Utah Highway Patrol has identified a woman killed in the crash of a pickup truck on Saturday, November 16, on Interstate 70 near Cove Fort. UHP said Rita Miramontes, 51, of Phoenix, was eastbound on I-70 near mile post 201 when the right rear tire of her Ford F-150 went flat. The pickup went into a skid, left the roadway and rolled several times into the median about 2:40 p.m. on Sunday. The driver's three children were injured and taken for treatment at a regional hospital. Check back for more information on this crash as it becomes available.
