However, troopers believe it was triggered when the driver of an eastbound Audi got distracted by a dropped cellphone, drifted into oncoming traffic and sideswiped the pickup, which was hauling a trailer, at milepost 273. The Audi then spun head-on into the second car, driven by the critically injured woman.
