The Utah Highway Patrol tells KSL-TV of Salt Lake City that 46-year-old Danyel Walton, of West Valley, was helping escort a wide load vehicle on U.S. 6 at the time of the crash.
UHP trooper Evan Kirby says Walton was in one of two vehicles accompanying the load Friday afternoon.
