Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a fatal automobile-pedestrian episode in the southwestern Utah town of Hurricane on Tuesday morning. Randahl Hill, of Hurricane, was allegedly driving drunk when the victim — who was on the hood of the car — fell off at about 5:10 a.m. at 300 N. Main Street.

Suspicious circumstances surround an accident that occured at 300 North and 35 West shortly after 5:00 a.m., where a man was struck and killed by a car. Investigators found what appear to be acceleration marks on the road, and witnesses claim that they heard the revving of an engine at the time of the accident. Police are currently investigating whether or not alcohol was involved; check back for updates.
