One critically injured in multi-vehicle I-15 crash

One man was critically injured in a three-vehicle collision late Wednesday morning on Interstate 15 near Lindon. Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Evan Kirby said the accident, near mile post 273 in the northbound lanes, occurred at 10:49 a.m. when a commercial box truck and two cars crashed. The injured man was flown from the scene by medical helicopter while wreckage was cleared and the investigation into the cause of the accident got underway. Traffic through the scene was diverted at 800 North to 1600 North for about 90 minutes. The Tribune will update this story with more details as they are released.

Woman in critical condition after 3-vehicle crash on I-15 in Lindon

The driver of the Toyota, a 24-year-old woman from Orem, was flown to a hospital in critical condition with head injuries. There were no other injuries reported in connection with the crash.
