Man dies, three others hurt in Beaver County crash

The Utah Highway Patrol has not yet released the 49-year-old man's identity. About 6:20 p.m., he was driving east on State Route 21 and reached the intersection with State Route 130 in the town of Minersville. But a Dodge pickup truck, which was stopped at a stop sign, turned left onto SR-21 and pulled out in front of the man's Honda, according to UHP. The Honda hit the front-left side of the Dodge and the Honda's driver, who troopers say only had a seatbelt across his chest, died. The car was an older model that has separate seatbelts: one that crosses the chest, and a second belt that goes over the lap, said UHP Sgt. Jason Cox.
