1 critically injured in crash that shut down Redwood Road

WEST JORDAN — A man was critically injured in a two-vehicle collision that shut down Redwood Road in both directions Friday morning. At 6:45 a.m., a white pickup was heading north on Redwood Road when it collided with a red passenger vehicle near 8400 S. Redwood Road, according to West Jordan police officer Scott List. The 26-year-old driver of the passenger vehicle was critically injured and taken to an area hospital, police said. Police were unsure if the passenger vehicle had come out of a neighborhood street or was struck while navigating a U-turn. Redwood Road was closed in both directions near 8400 South.
