Boy struck by car in Waynesboro, flown to hospital
An 11-year-old boy was struck by a car in Waynesboro Tuesday evening and flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The Waynesboro Police Dept. is investigating a motor vehicle crash involving an 11-year-old boy who was struck by a vehicle on N. Delphine Ave. Tuesday evening. The boy was transported to Augusta Health by the Waynesboro First Aid Crew and then airlifted to the University of Virginia Medical Center with life threatening injuries.

The victim is in critical condition at the UVA Medical Center Intensive Care Unit. The driver has been released from Augusta Health.
