Two women suffer minor injuries after a 3-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer on State Route 58 in Suffolk.

Two women received minor injuries in a tractor trailer accident Wednesday morning on Route 58.

Suffolk police and firefighters were dispatched at about 6:35 a.m. to the eastbound lanes of Route 58 near the weigh scales in reference to a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer, according to a City of Suffolk news release.

A preliminary investigation revealed the tractor trailer was traveling in the middle lane when a Nissan Altima was hit, the news release said. The impact from the crash caused the Nissan to spin and strike the center guardrail before being struck by a 4-door Honda.
