Bicyclist killed in crash near London Bridge Road
Virginia Beach police are investigating a vehicle crash involving a bicyclist at the intersection of N. Great Neck Road and London Bridge Road around 3 p.m.

Investigators say 57-year-old David Richard Rose rode into the path of a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am that was going south on Northampton Blvd.

A bicyclist was riding on Virginia Beach Blvd. when he crossed four lanes and travelled into the path of a Pontiac Grand Prix. The driver stopped to render aid after the collision, and bystanders tried to assist. The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
