Police on scene of fatal crash in Caroline County

Police confirm one person is dead after a two vehicle crash occurred on Lady Smith Road in Caroline County Tuesday afternoon. A Pontiac and truck hauling logs and stumps were involved in this crash.

Woman dead after fatal crash in Caroline County

CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. '€” A woman is dead after her car collided with a Mack truck on Lady Smith Road in Caroline County. State police said the truck was hauling logs and debris at the time of the crash. CBS 6 reporter Chelsea Rarrick will have more on this story for CBS 6 News at 11 p.m. The crash team is investigating the cause. The identity of the driver has not been released.

Beaverdam woman killed in crash in Caroline County

The driver of the Pontiac, 64-year-old Gwendolyn Gray of Beaverdam died at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt, he said. The driver of the Mack truck, 50-year-old Gary E. Hudson of Unionville is charged with reckless driving. He was not injured in the crash, police said.
