Crash on I-64 eastbound near Laburnum is fatal; interstate backed up near White Oak Village
The crash occurred about 9:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway near mile-marker 195, according to a statement from state police.
The right and center lanes are closed due to the crash, the Virginia Department of Transportation said. The area is near the Shops at White Oak Village.
