State police said the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are working with law enforcement to determine the cause of the crash.
Family and friends of Ryan McCall gathered Thursday night for the 16-year-old's viewing. The Riverbend High School sophomore was killed Sunday in a single-engine plane crash.
The flight school's owner told investigators that the pilot appeared to initiate a left turn that was earlier than customary.

16-year-old pilot Ryan Lee McCall, has died after the plane he was flying crashed Sunday morning. McCall was flying alone at the time of the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
