According to the Press Memo from the Washington State Patrol, 42 year old Omar Chevez of Sedro Woolley was Westbound on Old Day Creek Road in a white 2005 Chevrolet Pickup when he failed to negotiate a curve, and crossed the center line into oncoming traffic.
A 42-year-old Sedro-Woolley man was arrested Saturday on felony vehicular assault charges after the Chevy Silverado he was driving collided with a power pole on Old Day Creek Road, seriously injuring his two passengers. The driver was traveling west when he exited the road. His passengers, a 29-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, were transported to Skagit Valley Hospital.
