Three injured in rollover crash near Crystal Mountain

Three people were injured this morning when the vehicle they were riding in rolled over near Crystal Mountain Ski & Summer Resort.

A Crystal Mountain employee, who was one of three people rescued in a rollover, crash has died. Rescue crews, choppers and medics responded at Crystal Mountain Resort Thursday after three employees were hurt, and spent a cold night on the mountain after the crash. The three Crystal Mountain employees in their 20s, two men and a woman, were not on duty when their vehicle lost traction and crashed on a maintenance road at the ski area Wednesday night. The two men are food service employees and the woman is a gondola operator. Crews transported the least injured victim, the woman, to a hospital. Two choppers landed to airlift the two male victims, who have more serious injuries. Late Thursday, Crystal Mountain posted on their Facebook page that one of the employees had died. The post didn't identify the employee who passed away. What money damages are recoverable in a death claim? Every death from an accident is tragic. When a death is the result of someone else’s negligence, certain survivors may make a wrongful death claim against those responsible. Close relatives may recover monetary damages for the loss of financial support, as well as for medical, funeral, and burial expenses, lost earnings, and in some cases for pain, suffering, and loss of love and affection. Learn more about wrongful death claims here…
