A man was hospitalized this afternoon after he was struck by a Link light-rail train in Seattle’s Sodo neighborhood. The man, in his 30s, was struck at South Holgate Street and Fourth Avenue South. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center around 4 p.m. The man is expected to survive.

A head-on crash near Auburn sent three people, including a 4-year-old girl, to the hospital with critical injuries. A Ford Explorer and a minivan collided on Military Road South.

A semi truck hauling two FedEx trailers initiated a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 405 overnight, leaving two people injured. Arriving at the scene, troopers and medics found a semi truck and trailers lying on their side at the exit. Three other damaged vehicles also were at the scene.

A 69-year-old pedestrian hit by a car in Seattle’s Fairmount Park Neighborhood Sunday night has died. About 9:15 p.m., a Ford sedan was traveling northbound on 35th Avenue Southwest. As the Ford entered the intersection of Southwest Graham Street, the Ford struck a pedestrian, police said.

A 90-year-old Issaquah man died of injuries from a car crash Friday afternoon. According to police, two cars were turning onto East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast from Northwest Sammamish Road about 3 p.m. when they collided, causing one of the cars to hit a tree.
