One killed in possible car-surfing crash in Kirkland

State troopers say the victim was either hanging out of the sunroof of a light-colored BMW or was car surfing on top of the vehicle when the car hit a guardrail.

Teen driver arrested after 18-year-old killed in freeway fall

Later Monday, troopers found the driver’s vehicle but were unable to find the driver. After he was identified by police, he turned himself in to detectives at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
