Motorcyclist killed in Highway 9 crash is identified

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner has released the identity of the Arlington man killed in a Sunday crash in Lake Stevens. 

Uzile Young, 71, died from blunt force injuries in a motorcycle crash which occurred 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Highway 9 at Lundeen Parkway. A motorcycle driven by a 60-year-old Marysville man southbound on the highway rear-ended an SUV. The impact sent the motorcycle into oncoming traffic, where it crashed with a northbound motorcycle driven by Young. The Marysville motorcyclist sustained serious injuries.
