MARYSVILLE -- A man riding a bike was struck by a pickup and killed Tuesday night in Marysville.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office said Darryl W. Didier, 64, died from blunt-force injuries and classified the death as accidental.

A bicyclist was killed in a crash with a truck in Marysville Tuesday night. The crash occurred at about 8 p.m. on State Avenue and 109th Street.

No arrest following fatal truck-bicycle accident in Marysville

The 25-year-old driver from Marysville of the truck was not injured. Although witnesses saw the man being handcuffed and detained at the scene by police, it wasn’t immediately clear if he was arrested in connection with the crash.
