Woman struck and killed by train at State Avenue in Marysville, Washington

The death of woman hit by a train Tuesday night is being investigated by Marysville, Washington police. Officers responded to the call at approximately 9:30 PM to the Burlington Northern tracks at the 9200 block of State Avenue. Collision investigators were working the scene, shutting down 88th Street while the train was stopped. Investigators report that accident was likely a suicide.
