SeaTac deadly hit and run suspect captured

The suspect allegedly drove on the on-ramp and struck a man, 44, standing outside the passenger door of the SUV. A second person, who was not injured, was sitting in the driver's seat.

The incident occurred on the eastbound SR 518 on-ramp from Des Moines Way near SeaTac, according to Trooper Rick Johnson. The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on SR 518 and will have heavy damage on the driver’s side. Troopers have arrested the suspected driver behind a deadly hit-and-run. Johnson credits social media for helping locate and track down the driver. The Renton man fled the scene just after 2 a.m. after striking a 44-year-old man.

Troopers have described the suspect vehicle as a work/utility vehicle with heavy damage to its left side. It was last seen eastbound on SR 518.
