Four pedestrians struck by hit-and-run driver in Seattle

Seattle police are investigating after four pedestrians were hit by a driver early Tuesday. Officers said the driver was going up to 40 mph through an intersection when she hit four pedestrians on a curb, hit a tree and then kept going down Wall Street. Two of the pedestrians were thrown about 10 to 15 feet when they were hit. Police said some of the victims were thrown into the air at Denny Way and Aurora Avenue at 1:30 a.m. At some point, the woman was arrested.
