The driver returned to the scene about 30 minutes later to speak to police.
The driver was then arrested and booked into the King County Jail for investigation of vehicular homicide.

Treza Hafzalla appeared in front of a judge on Monday. Police say she admitted to running over a woman at the crosswalk on N 82nd and Wallingford Avenue Sunday night.

Instead, Hafzalla allegedly got back to her car and sped off, with the grocery basked still stuck to the front grill of her car.
She then parked her car about a mile away in the 7800 block of 11th Avenue Northeast and called her boyfriend to take her home, police reports say.
