Astagfarr Ahmath and Philip Estes injured in accident on SR-3 just north of Shelton on June 25
2 injured because of ‘improper backing’
Two Thurston County men were injured in a crash north of Shelton on Tuesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Astagfarr Ahmath, 23, of Olympia was driving a 1997 Honda CRV north on state Route 3, one mile north of Shelton, when he missed a turn at 10:22 a.m. Ahmath allegedly tried to turn around and backed over an embankment. He was injured and flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Ahmath’s passenger, 30-year-old Philip Estes of Lacey, was injured and taken to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.Things to do to help an injured person after a serious accident A serious car accident can quickly take over your life.
