Sanchez’s car made a left turn into the other car. Sanchez’s car came to a rest in a ditch, while the other vehicle came to rest on the shoulder of the highway.

A Spokane man has been arrested in a crash that killed one teen and severely injured another

The Spokesman-Review reports that the teens, Bailey Roach and Taigen Balbi, were best friends who had just finished their sophomore year. Roach died at the scene and Balbi was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Sanchez is facing charges of vehicular homicide and possibly vehicular assault in connection to the crash. Police reports show he was driving drunk at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour. Ramirez showed-up without an attorney representing him.
