Drama teacher killed by truck in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) - Staff, students and parents are mourning after a pickup truck struck and killed a Walla Walla High School drama teacher. The school district reports that teacher Brian Senter was killed Saturday night. The Walla Walla Sheriff's Office is investigating, but the Tri-City Herald reports that the pickup's driver remained at the scene and was cooperative at the scene. Investigators said he showed no signs of drug or alcohol impairment and passed a breath test.     A student vigil was planned Sunday night.

Walla Walla Teacher Struck and Killed by Car on Reser Road Posted: Updated: The incident is still under investigation WALLA WALLA, WA- 50-year-old Walla Walla High School Drama teacher Brian Senter was struck and killed by a car Saturday night on the 1200 block of Reser Road. Jim Kuntz, the Port of Walla Walla Executive Director was the driver of the Ford Ranger pick-up that struck Senter. The incident is still under investigation by the Walla Walla Sheriff's Office. Senter was a pedestrian in the east bound lane of Rester Road and there was only one vehicle, also traveling east bound on Reser Road, involved in this collision. The collision happened before 10 p.m. on Reser Road.
