A vehicle struck and killed a DOH worker in a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 50 near Parkersburg Thursday afternoon, Five others were injured. Randall W. Bland, 49, of Waverly, W.Va., an employee with the West Virginia Division of Highways, was working to resurface a lane of U.S. 50 when the fatal crash occurred. A tractor-trailer entered the construction zone and struck Bland and three vehicles.
