According to the Chilton Police Department, an unidentified red two-door vehicle struck a parked car with enough force to create a chain reaction, pushing it into several other vehicles. The impact was severe enough to completely dislodge one vehicle's driver's side rear tire from its axle, requiring the damaged vehicle to be towed from the scene. The driver of the red vehicle fled the location immediately after the incident, prompting local law enforcement to launch a hit-and-run investigation.
