Driver admits to texting before head-on crash, deputies say

 Investigators said Amanda A. Pausa, 23, of Fort Atkinson, was traveling east on Highway 12 when she crossed the center line and hit an oncoming vehicle.
Amanda A. Pausa, 23, has admitted that texting was the cause for her head-on collision as she was traveling east on Highway 12 when she crossed the center line and hit an oncoming vehicle. Before the crash, another driver had reported Pausa’s vehicle for erratic driving. Pausa sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the other vehicle, Scott B. Brown, 55, suffered only minor injuries.
