Police say officers, assisted by the Wisconsin State Patrol, responded to the crash at Calumet Drive near N. 26th Street.
An investigation revealed a 78-year-old man was headed southbound when his vehicle went through several traffic cones and struck a 46-year-old construction worker for KS Energy.
