3 killed in rollover crash in northern Wyoming

Patrol Lt. Will Zilka said the SUV was traveling at the speed limit or a little bit above it, but the road was icy at the time. The men worked for Cudd Energy Services.

Three die in crash near Gillette, marking 142 Wyoming highway fatalities this year

Highway Patrol officials believe speed, tire conditions, driver fatigue and snow and ice covered roads caused the crash. The deaths mark 142 highway fatalities in Wyoming in 2014, an 80 percent increase compared to the amount of highway traffic deaths at this time last year.

Three people died a single-vehicle accident in northern Wyoming. Those killed are 42-year-old Willie L. Reeder, of Florida; 60-year-old Randy D. Roddy, of California; and a 28-year-old man from Texas whose name has not yet been released. The men died when the SUV they were in crashed and rolled north of Gillette near the Wyoming-Montana border Tuesday night. Check back for more information as it becomes available.
